dbx files: Is there a way to deal with them in Word 97.
I want to capture a single line from a large number of emails. I know I
could copy the emails to Word.

Thanks, Irv Diamond

The DBX files are not in a format that Word would know what to do with them.

Your best bet would be to extract the DBX files to EML files (one per message). EML files
are text files.

You can do the process manually, but with a lot of e-mails, it will be tedious. You may
find the following programs helpful:

DBXtract - http://www.oehelp.com/DBXtract/Default.aspx
DBXpress - http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/Default.aspx
DBXtend - http://www.oehelp.com/DBXtend/Default.aspx

OEX Enhancements - Import/Export/Resend/Duplicates/Attachments, etc.
