As soon as Send/receive is pressed, the internet connection is dropped. When
it redials, Outlook sends and receives but then the next time send/receive is
clicked, or on auto send/receive, it drops the connection again.

Can anyone help me please ?!

Tools > Options > Connection > Hang up after sending and receiving (uncheck)

In OE go to Tools | Accounts and do the following for each mail and news
account:

Double click the account.
Go to the Connection tab.
Uncheck "Always connect to this account using:".
