Whenever I click on new a message boxwhile using microsoft outlook, a message
pops up stating, "A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have
stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this? If this is unexpected, it may
be a virus and you should choose No."

What type of virus is this and how is it removed?

What anti-virus program are you using?
Have you tried updating it and running it from Safe Mode?
