Things were working last night and now all of the replies I have sent to
various newsgroups have all ended up in my 'sent items' folder, but none
have posted ...at least that I can see. I have checked to make sure 'Show
all message's is selected, I have recently compacted all messages.. and in
fact can think of nothing that has changed from yesterday.
I am up to date on, Ad-Aware, SB Search & Destroy, Spyware Blaster, Norton
Av..
Can anyone think of what I can try?

Hi there,

The likely cause is that that newsn server's group of servers was not
perfectly synched, so some of them showed your posts and some did not.
They're on the news server, just not the one you happened to log into at
that time.

hour, or more, to show my posts.

Well, I posted this a couple of different times trying to figure out what
the problem was, and ended up doing a system restore, then came back here
and the posts were all there. Until now, all my posts have shown up within
just a few minutes. The first posts of today were earlier this morning and
upon returning home from work they still had not posted, that's 7 hours, so
I'm guessing that I did something to my computer although I can't for the
life of me think of what. Anyway, system restore worked, and all is good
