Same E-mail address on more than 1 computer

Can I use the same e-mail address on my Laptop and Desktop using Outlook
Express? I have SBC DSL as my internet provider and would like my e-mails to
be sent to the laptop and the desktop at the same time, so I can check either
my mail on either one. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Kemm

Yes,but on each machine you will have to go to the Advanced Properties of
the account and tell it to leave a copy on the sever. A copy of your sent
messages will only be on the machine they were sent from.

Hi Kemm,

No, this can't be done directly, but there is an account setting that will
help you accomplish the task. Assuming both the desktop and laptop have an
Internet connection messages could be left on the mail server. That way all
messages would be available when messages are downloaded to the account on
either PC. Limit the amount of time messages are to be kept on the server to
something less than a week to avoid filling the server mailbox to its
maximum limit.

Look in OE, Tools, Accounts, Mail, Mail Account properties, Advanced tab (on
each PC) to make the appropriate selections.
