How do I get Word as my text editor? I want to insert letters from
non-English languages.

Try using Character Map for non standard characters. Start/All
Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Character Map. You can copy/paste non
standard characters from there. To change the default HTML editor, open
Internet Explorer, click Tools/Internet Options/Programs tab and change the
default editor there.

Word is not supported as the message editor in Outlook Express. It is supported in
Outlook97/98/200+.
But you don't need Word for what you want to do.
There are several ways to enter accented and special characters in Windows.

- How To Use the United States-International Keyboard Layout in Windows XP

- Use the Character Map accessory to copy/paste the characters. For more information do:
Start, Help, Index, Character Map.
- Use ALT key + 3 or 4 digit code on the numeric pad. The Character Map accessory lists
these. For example ALT+0209 is Ñ.
