Why laddered text, uneven line lengths??

If I compose an email in OE6 xp sp2 directly it's fine. If I work from
another document and paste it in to OE, or if I start in OE and go back and
forth to an external editor, I usually end up with extra carriage return,
spaces between lines of text, uneven ling length, etc. Sometimes these
effects only show up when I send it to the outbasket, and aren't visible
before that step. It can be maddening. Any thoughts?

Formatting a message to your specified line wrap only takes place after you
place a message in the Outbox or the Drafts folder. You should not depend
on some other program to do the formatting, nor should you edit the text to
achieve some desired line length. That function is set under
Tools/Options/Send and Plain Text button for either Mail and/or News as
appropriate. To see the results of formatting, save your message to the
Drafts folder, and look at it there before sending.
