Outlook Express Not Removing Messages in Outbox

Hi All,

Kind of a funky problem ... whenever Outlook Express 6.0
sends a message with an attachment the message stays in
the outbox and is sent every send/receive. I've disabled
all the anti-virus and still no luck. Compacted all
folders, no luck. Frustrated here. Windows XP SP2, 1GB
RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive.

Close OE.

Delete Outbox.dbx in your identity's store. In WindowsXP, the OE user files
(DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in
Explorer, you must enable Show Hidden Files and Folders under Start>Control
Panel>Folder Options>View.

On the Outlook Express menu bar, go to Tools/Options/Send tab. If the
second item ("Send messages immediately) is UN-checked, message goes into
the Send box and waits for the next send/receive. If this box is CHECKED,
message should go immediately.
