OE Script errors

Each time OE 6 is opened, a script error appears saying "An error has
occurred on the script of the page. Object does not support this property or
method. res: //\c:\program files\outlook express\msoeres.dll /frntpage.htm
Do you want to continue scripts on this page?" Selecting yes or no continues
into OE6 and e-mails can be sent and received.
Once OE6 is opened and minimized, this message does not appear.
Problem started after arriving in Florida when Bellsouth internet was
connected and setup.

Look in the registry under this key (with Outlook Express closed):

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{GUID for identity}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook
Express\5.0
\FrontPagePath - and change the value to this:

res://C:\Program%20Files\Outlook%20Express\msoeres.dll/welcome.htm

Exit the registry editor and reopen Outlook Express and see if the error has
stopped. Or, more simply, under Tools/Options/General tab in Outlook
Express, uncheck the box "When starting, go directly to my Inbox."

Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. No
one gets paid to help here, and the response rate from those that are helped
is less than 4-5%. If that were how medical advancements were made we would
all have died years ago. Thanks.

Good evening,

I tried the following suggestions:

Look in the registry under this key (with Outlook Express closed):

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{GUID for identity}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook
Express\5.0
\FrontPagePath - and change the value to this:

res://C:\Program%20Files\Outlook%20Express\msoeres.dll/welcome.htm

Exit the registry editor and reopen Outlook Express and see if the error has
stopped. Or, more simply, under Tools/Options/General tab in Outlook
Express, uncheck the box "When starting, go directly to my Inbox."

I followed the above steps, but could not locate the frontpage path to
modify the registry to fix the script errors. Any suggestions?

Ed
