I know there is an easy answer to my question but I'm having trouble opening
a webpage within an incoming email. I click on the page and nothing
happens. I'm using XP Home edition and Outlook Express SP2. I have tried
everything including under security unchecking the "do not allow to open
that has a potential virus". This all happened when I compacted all
folders. Thanks in advance.

1. You click on a link in an OE message and an IE window doesn't even open:

2. You click on a link in an OE message and an IE window opens but it
doesn't load:

(re-register all DLLs listed in this KB article)

Installing the latest Cumulative Patch for IE may solve the problem as a
side-effect. Check in at Windows Update.
