I have been getting duplicates of each new message that come in on my inbox.
I tried deleting the inbox hoping that the new one would be repaired but it
doesn't work. Does anyone know how I can repair this problem? NS

pls reply to nsheppard@nyc.rr.com

Close OE. Find and delete POP3uidl.dbx from your identity's store
(http://www.insideoe.com/files/store.htm#storemain).

Neil,
Another thing you can if PA Bear advise does not solve your problem, is to
check the messages through your email acct's webmail access. You may have a
corrupted message in your Inbox on the server that is preventing the rest of
the messages to be downloaded. In my experience it has been a SPAM message,
or a HTML formatted newsletter message that has been damaged in some way.
Once you delete the offending message, you should be able to download the
rest of your messages.

OE for POP3 mail accts, waits until all the messages are downloaded from the
server inbox, before it tells the server that it can delete them from the
mail server. Unless you designate differently in OE's Advance setting's tab.
