Hi,

I have had the issue with the preview script error and that is resolved but
my problem now is that when i print from oe6 sp1 it prints the message
header on page 1, page 2 and 4 are blank and the message is printed on page
3.

i am at a loss to resolve this and any help would be great.

running win2k sp4, ie6 sp1 the printer is a samsung ml-1200

notepad and similar print ok so the issue must be with ie6/oe6

thanks in advance.

Si.

Outlook Express (OE) uses Internet Explorer (IE) settings for printing.
To control the OE message body print size:
IE4: View, Fonts
IE5+: View, Text Size
For margins, see in IE: File, Page Setup

Check your settings for Top and Bottom margins

Thanks for the reply, i have changed the top and bottom margins as suggested
to no avail. I thought i may have had it by changing the paper size to
letter from A4 but it works intermittently.

Help please :(

Si.

Do you have similar problems printing web pages in Internet Explorer?

You mention that it works intermittently. Does it tend to be messages from the same
person that have problems?

It's worth checking with the printer manufacturer to see if they have updated printer
drivers. IE tends to put more stress on drivers than other programs, such as notepad.

Right, the issue is this, the Samsung is a GDI Emulation printer and this
is a known issue with ie6/oe6 so have purchased a nice lexmark laser. I
have an issue with this but will start a new thread.
