I dunno what the 'SendTo' problem is, Len, but I suspect McAfee has
something to do with it. (Both of the 'SendTo' options you cited add an
attachment to an OE message...)

YW, as always, Len.

Solved!! pa, again you & bruce came thru!

after reading this reply, i disabled the mcafee via system tray, which i
hadn't done before, even though i was directed to do this. send link & send
to work fine!!

i was trying to find a "disable email scanning" option in mcafee. i found
"On-Delivery E-mail Scanner", however, when i disabled it, i still had
problem.

you folks are the best!

thank you, len kiesling

Don't know squat about McAfee, let alone corporate versions, but
"On-Delivery E-mail Scanner" sounds like scanning of *incoming* mail, Len,
and so wouldn't be what you're looking for (i.e., scanning of outgoing
mail).

I'd only use the "disable McAfee" workaround cautiously and on a
case-by-case basis. IOW, remember to re-enable it!

thank you!. yes, i see that it scans incoming mails. i also don't know
anything about mcafee. i will reenable AV after sending.

i still like & will use the right click "e-mail page" in I.E. thank you for
that workaround!
