Animated Icons not displaying properly

I currently have a journal on www.livejournal.com, and I've tried to utilize
their help facilities, but they tell me that they don't provide support for
3rd party software. I have posted some animated icons, and these are not
displaying as animated on my Internet Explorer. However, using IE at work I
can see these just fine. What is causing these images not to display
properly?

Hi,
In Internet Options> Advanced> Multimedia> make sure that "Play animations"
is checked.

Hope this helps,

See if this helps:

Why don't my animated gifs animate?
Take note of the mention of firewalls like @Guard as others like Zone
Alarm Pro and NIS may also have a disable option.
