I am working under IE6 SP2, and I'd like to change the settings of colors and
borders on HTML objects as part of the form validation process. I'd like to
know what the default settings are thoough, so that I can develop a
stylesheet that has for example error styles and normal styles for the
various objects, like check boxes, and text fields.

It would be great if there were a "return to default" setting, but I have
yet to find one like that, and am forced to try to replicate the settings
myself.

I'ts time consuming an complicated, especially when the default may change
between users or machines.
