Does anyone know if there is a difference between specifying <script
language="JavaScript"> and <script language="JScript"> in IE? Do they both
use
the jscript.dll interpreter, or does IE provide a different interperator for
JavaScript?

For a better, faster response, post this to the JScript newsgroup:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.scripting.jscript&lang=en&cr=US

These might be of interest:

A table showing the differences:

Or you can Google "differences between javascript and jscript"
