Favorites became a drop-down box. How to return to full list?

When I have always clicked on Favorites to see my well-managed favorites, my
entire tree of favorites appeared. All of a sudden, my first favorite,
"Google" appears followed by a double-arrow drop-down that I have to click to
see my favorites.
I don't have too many to easily see. Some setting must have inadvertantly
been changed. I can't find it by browsing options or Knowledge Base. Help.

IE-Tools-Internet Options-Advanced
The option is "Enable Personalized Favorites Menu"

That box is checked. Should I uncheck it? (Also, I notice that when I
manually drop to a Favorite, it is added to the list of Favorites that show.
Appreciating help! Duncan

Also, I just noticed the same phenomena occurs with, Start, Programs. Very
few appear where they all used to appear. Was this some hidden MS update?

Uncheck it if you don't want it.

?
No, it is not some hidden update. It is standard.
If you mean that some hidden MS update has changed things, then I am
not aware of such a problem.
Sometimes, these things happen.
