How can I control the order of the items in the
Favorites list?

For example, I want all folders together at the
top, in alphabetical order. That should be followed
by non-folders, again in alphabetical order.

I thought I could go to the Favorites folder
(Start / Explore / ....) and select View / Arrange
Icons. But that did not change anything in IE.

I have IE6 and Win XP Pro SP2. I also have IE6
and Win 2000 (5.00).

I should rephrase .... How can I control the order
in an automated way?

I know that I can reposition items by dragging them
manually. But first, that has proved error prone
in the past; I "lose" items in unintended folders.
And second, I have a lot to reorganizing. Since I
want things alphabetized and grouped by type (folder
and not), I am hoping there is a "single button"
that I can push -- or something close to that.

Right-click> sort by name. (From the favorites button- not the Favorites
