Clearing History

There's a particular website that defaults in the Address bar whenever I type
the first letter of its address. I've cleared history, deleted temp files &
cookies, searched and deleted any files with the address name in it. I've
even searched the registry for entries with that address name. Nothing has
worked. Any suggestions? It's not a big problem, it's more of an annoyance.
But it does bothers me that I can't get rid of it. Thanks,

I tried the "clear forms" suggestion, but it had no effect on the problem.

Hi,
This URL you're seeing is in the index.dat file in the History folder.
Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder (and the index.dat file) and a new one will be created when
you restart.
Or the History folder can be deleted manually:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
This freeware program may be helpful:
CCleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/
Hope this helps,
Don
