When emailing the address I enter gets changed to an unknown address. How?
How can I fix it? I enter the official abbreviation for California as in
Dor.MF.gov (Dept of Rehabilitation.California.Gov buy after send it I get it
back as undeliverable and the California abbreviation gets changed to MF.
Using Internet Explorer 6 and Hotmail.com. Also happens in Verizon.net and
Yahoo.com email programs, that's what makes me think it may be a browser
problem.

The CA symbol gets changed in your news posts as well. Do you have a
security/privacy program installed? If so, it may be trying to prevent
you from disclosing "personal" information. I've heard of one that is
this stupidly designed, but I don't recall the name.
Given that "MF" is potentially offensive, this could also be the result of
infestation by some soft of trojan.

Thanks Gary. In answer to your question, I do have several McAfee products.
Found the problem to be the settings I made in McAfee Privacy Service.
Entered my address to prevent it going out, including CA for state. When I
removedthe CA part, walla!...corrected problem. Appreciate your suggestion,
it redirected my brain.
