Why won't this message load?

I have XP/IE6 on this machine. Many times, such as when I am responding to
this forum, I type the answer, click *Post* and after a bit of a struggle it
cancels out. Argh! Why? What should I test? I just deleted the Temp files,
and it still showed this nasty behavior.

Ooh, I hope it loads this time, I hope it loads...

Also you are using the CDO interface. You would do better to access this group with your OE newsreader.

Are you using the web interface notification feature too?

There may be a timing problem associated with that.

Try posting, then check that your post arrived and mark it for notification.
Or mark the one you are responding to for notification. (Actually I haven't
done much testing with that feature but I suspect you could probably also
mark the OP for notification and get the same effect.)

However, as your other responder has mentioned, if you are planning on
doing a lot of replying or even a lot of reading you really should check out
using a real NNTP newsreader instead of the web interface to newsgroups.
Then you would just use the web interface for searching its larger archive
of messages.

Good luck
