When I open IE 6 and while it is running I get 2 security warning messages.
They say that "The current web page is trying to open a site on the
internet......." The Current site is ad.doubleclick.net and the Internet site
is: C:WINDOWS\system32\shdoclc.dll. I have run 5 or 6 adware/spyware/virus
programs in & out of safe mode, but to no avail. I tried using Resource
Hacker but cannot find the string to delete in shdoclc.dll to stop this
unending nuisance.

Can somebody please help?

When all else fails, HijackThis
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to
use. It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware.

Thanks PA Bear for your response. I have tried all your recommendations with
the exception of HiJackThis and the problem is still there. I have just run
HiJackThis and submitted the log to castlecops. I am awaiting a response.
