My connection keeps dropping out after a few minutes, only started today,
and i get the above error message, any ideas why?

Try checking for spyware/malware. Run Ad-Aware (www.lavasoftusa.com) and
spybot s&d (www.safer-networking.org). You might also like to give your
system a clean with Crap Cleaner (www.ccleaner.com)
