Warning message about ActiveX control

Whenever I click on a hyperlink in IE, I receive the following message: "To
help protect your security, Internet Explorer stopped this site from
installing an ActiveX control on your computer. Click here for options...."

When I attempt to install the control it turns out to be ocget.dll; if I
then check the install box nothing seems to happen - I get exactly the same
set of messages the next time I open the hyperlink.. I am using IE 6.0,
SP-2.

Aside from the message, the hyperlinks appear to open without a problem.
Does anyone know what's going on?

Does this happen when you click on /every/ or /any/ hyperlink? Does it also
happen if you click on a hyperlink in, e.g., an email message?

No, It doesn't. It happens primarily in Yahoo when I click on an article
from my home page. Thanks,

Assuming a Yahoo page is your IE homepage, choose a different homepage. For
quick access to the Yahoo page, add it to Favorites > Links then drag Links
folder to the IE toolbar.

If you open the Yahoo page from the "Linksbar" now and click on a hyperlink
on that page, does the problem persist?

Unfortunately, yes - I still get the message. However, the problem seems
limited to Yahoo; it does not occur when I click hyperlinks on other
homepages. I wonder if it has to do with Yahoo now offering RSS feeds?

Are the links you're clicking on links to an RSS feed? Do you have an RSS
reader installed?

No, I'm just clicking on the standard Yahoo headlines - I don't even have
RSS on my machine. I just thought this may be conncected to Yahoo adding RSS
to it's system.

What anti-virus app do you have installed? NAV and McAfee VirusScan each
include a Script Blocker. If you turn these off, does the bahavior persist?

I'm using NAV. Turning off the script blocker had no effect - still getting
the same message.
