Address URL Missing

Toolbar is on top, the current address URL used to be in a bar below that.
Now, that bar is gone and the only way to navigate is to use links. Can't
select current address and type in new one.

Any ideas ?

Using Registry Editor(regedit.exe), remove the following Internet Explorer
registry key values, and then restart your computer:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Main\window_placement

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Desktop\oldWorkAreas OldWorkAreaRects

This would reset the layout of the Internet Explorer windows.

Are you sure? E.g. is Address bar checked in Toolbars? (Alt-V,T,A)
If only Address bar label is visible uncheck Lock Toolbars (Alt-V,T,b)
and try doubleclicking on it (or just drag on it to stretch it.)

Are you sure? Try pressing Menu-P (or right-click Properties) to see current address.
Doubleclick on a word in its Address (URL): field and press Ctrl-a to select it.
Press Ctrl-o to type in a new one.
