Hi,
I am using Firefox as my default browser (less crashes)...but of course one
need access to IE for things like Active X programs. How do I get my IE
shortcuts (which now open in Firefox) to open back in IE when necessary?

IE-Tools-Internet Options-Programs tab.
Check the box "IE should check..."
Close IE and reopen it.
