IE has just suddenly stopped loading pages. Each time I try to load a
different page I get "
The page cannot be displayed"
I can still get the pages I want using Firefox so we can rule out a problem
with a virus, broadband connection or ISP problem.
It is really weird - can anyone offer an explanation and cure?

I have managed to solve the problem myself!

Tools / Internet Options / Connections / LAN settings and take the tick out
of the Proxy Server box.

However as I never put it in in the first place I have no idea how it got
there!
