Good morning,

I have a concept and I'm hoping this has been done before or that someone
can help me figure it out.

I was wondering if it was possible to create a general Corporate Favorites
folder and link it to a user's favorite folde. Thus allowing a common pool
of favorites while still allowing the user to have his private/personal
favorites?

Any input is welcome!

Daniel

Hello Daniel,
If you have an Active Directory Domain you can publish Favorites to your
users in a GPO. If you don't run Active Directory you can create a simple
login script copy the favorites you want to your users favorites folder in
their profile.

Hope it helped :)

Yes, you can do this. Set up the folder in C:\Documents and Settings\<user
name>\Favorites, then right click on it and click on Sharing and Security,
Sharing tab. There are links there to Windows Help that will further assist
you.
