Cannot erase Saved web addresses

I have autocomplete enabled in IE6 with winXP Prof., but I wanted to
eliminate some of the web addresses from the autocomplete list. I deleted
all internet history and this eliminated all but three of the autocomplete
web addresses. Does anyone know where these may be stored? I have run Spy
Bot S&D and Ad-Aware, thinking that may be the problem, but no results. Any
help is appreciated.

Open up IE
- Tools > Internet Options
- Click the content Tab
- Click the auto complete button
- You Can clear forms and passwords from here.
- Right click the start button
- Choose properties
- Click customize
- Click Clear

I am encountering a similar problem with erasing the visited website History
in my IE6/WinXP Prof/SP2. Specifically, all addresses of previously visited
sites are erased using the IE Tools and the History button..... except the
"Google" link. I'm not sure if Google is using some erase proof cookie, but
the delete option on the IE6 History button has no effect on the Google
link... it just grays out and pops up black again. All other links and
cookies are successfully erased.
Like Iceman, I also ran the spyware with no effect. I do not use
Autocomplete. Any ideas on how to erase the Google history link are
appreciated.

Do you use the google toolbar? If you have any google software
installed it may not allow you to erase this stuff. See
http://www.ccleaner.com/ for software to help keep your system CLEAN.

Hi Will - Click on the multi-colored word "Google" in the toolbar, then in
the dropdown, select/click "Clear Search History".
