Hello,

on ONE machine Windows 2003 Service Pack 1

(1) IE hangs, if a web page is trying to open a new Window

(2) IE crashes down, if I try to download a file.

In the event log I see:

Hanging application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.3790.1830,

hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.

I disabled all AddOns,

I disabled using third Party Browser extensions,

I had run Spybot,

I had run a Windows 2003 Repair and installed SP1,

--> but the problem is not solved.

Any ideas how to remove the IE components and IE settings under Windows 2003
completely and after reinstalling it ?
( I do not see IE in Control Panel -> Software -> Add/Remove Windows
Components )
