I am using Windows XP SP2, and my version of IE is
6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519. When i go to a website and try to
download a .tgz file the download gets translated into .tar. Here is an
example of the URL:

http://foo.com/bar.tgz

Has anyone else seen this or know of a way to fix the issue?
