No, because it's not a very good idea to click on any link posted in a
newsgroup message based just on curiosity and/or blind faith, especially one
posted anonymously via the web interface and by someone who's never posted
in this or any other public newsgroup using that email address.

FYI Firefox 1.0 was released November 9, 2004 making it less than a year
old. I suspect that www.getfirefox.com has been around even less.
