I am using IE 6.0 sp2 with all the present updates
I downloaded Microsofts spyware checker and also Hijackthis.
I used them both to check and clean my system.
Right now my system is clean from spyware and viruses and yet my Internet
Explorer continues to freeze whenever I open up more than one window, then
close one of them and try to continue using the window thats left open. I
noticed that other people have been having some of the same type of problems
and yet I haven't seen anyone say anything about having it fixed. I would
like to know if anyone has figured out what to do about this problem.

I am getting same thing. Have sent dozens of error reports to no avail.
IEXPLORE.EXE.mdmp is the dump.
Seems to happen, and very repeatable, when a new window is opened within an
open window then closed. IE6 then waits a minute then > 'hour glass' then >
'not responding'.
My application is a webpage inside WebCT.
