certain page won't load after malicious wma file -- can I reinstall?
A malicious wma file took over my iexplorer... everything was porn
sites until I closed all the Windows. Now, everything is fine except
that the current page that was loaded when all this happened won't load
at all. Maybe just a coincidence, but still... what can I do? I tried
reinstalling iexplorer but ie6setup wouldn't go any further than to
tell me that I had a later version already installed (sp2). I even
changed the registry to reflect that IExplorer was not installed, to no
avail. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ron

Post a link? Give more details?
BTW IE in XPsp2 can not be repaired (easily).
Try uninstalling XPsp2 and reinstalling that
if you think you really need to go that route.

The site is "The Lounge" link at www.bjork.com. You have to be
registered at the site to view it. How can I uninstall sp2?
