When going to TOOLS>INTERNET SETTING>HOME PAGE I am unable to save a new page
as my home page as this otion is greyed out.

How do I undo this ?

Try this registry patch:

http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/UnlockHomePage.reg

Download, right-click and select merge.

Reboot and test.

After that read this:

Prevent your "HomePage" setting from being Hijacked
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/ietips.htm#Protecting
