When I use IE,all pictures are shown in low resolution. This used to work ok.
All ither software (photo software, etc ) works ok. So the PC screens are
fine. Any ideas why IE pictures are so blurred. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi,
When you right-click an image, is there an option to "Show full quality" or
similar? If so, your ISP is compressing images to facilitate faster download
of webpages.
AOL, Earthlink, NetZero, Juno and others have this feature.

You'll have to explore your ISPs software settings to find and change this.
They're all different. ;-)

If you installed a dialup accelerator bout the time this started that's why.
