Content won't stay disabled

I enabled content when my granddaughters were here. They are gone but and I
have diabled it but it still keep showing up and refusing to let me see sites
such as
Slate magazine, etc. The different items are all set at no violence, no
nudity, etc. What do I do to stop content from showing up.

Hi Ridgerunner,

Shut down Internet Explorer. Search for a file called ratings.pol. Rename
it ratings.old
