Why does the History trail return later even after Deleting

I have noticed that even after deleting everything out of the History folder,
later everything will return. I had this issue on Windows2000, but found a
way to remove it for good just can't remember how. Has anyone noticed this
and have a possible solution?

Example: Go into History and delete Today and other folders. Couple days
later go back and today is there(that is the deafult) but all days of that
week and then week 2 and week 3 etc...

It sounds like your history folder is corrupt. Create a new one as per the
instructions at the URL below:
