Automatic rotation of JPEG files

Hello,

I installed the Windows XP RAW Viewing Powertoy, and I really like it.
Now I can see all my RAW files directly in Windows Explorer, and they are
even rotated automatically if I shot them in portrait orientation. That is
really nice, my thanks to the guys who wrote that Powertoy!

What I am missing now is that normal JPEG files are not rotated
automatically. Maybe there is a way how to do that, or can we expect an
upgrade for viewing thumbnails of JPEGs, so that they also get rotated
automatically? That would really be great! :)

Some software has this capability but it's not
yet a feature of Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

The following free viewer will auto-rotate your
..jpgs. (assuming that your camera adds the
correct info) and (you'll have to save the files
to make the rotation permanent)

FastStone Image Viewer
