I've downloaded photos to the computer nto "My Pictures", can view them fine,
made a video of them and could copy the video to CD but when I try to copy
the selected photos to a CD a box appears in the upper left corner with the
following
"Copy here "
Move here
Create shortcut here
Cancel
I've tried clicking on these and can still not make a CD.
Please help.........Thanks

I have already read these. I've tried these different methods without
success. The prompts never come up and the "wizard" is gone. This computer
has done this before ..... I've copied complete files in the past but
none.... not even written files will copy to CD.
I'm lost.....

Describe what you are doing. That sounds like a menu one gets when one drags with the right mouse.

I open "My Pictures". Open the folder of pics I want to copy. Select the
picts. Now they are outlined in blue and I left click on a prompt on the left
side of the "my Pictures" box uunder "Picture Tasks" where it says "Copy to
CD". A white box appers in the upper left hand corner that says "Copy Here,
Move here, Create shortcut here, Cancel". During this time I have only used
the left click.

I tried to use the right click and send selected photos to the "DIrectCD
drive (D)" and an error message that said "D:\ is not accessable. Incorrect
function." Then I tried to right click and send the same photos to the "CD
Drive (D:)" and I got the same error message. Both those options were offered
with the right click under "send". Still no copying taking place. I have
used the simple left click method in the distant past and worked to back my
my photos on CD. I just can't figure why this is happeneing now........

Still lost... Thanks Cooky
