Hello everybody,
hope someone can help, I recently reinstalled windows xp, and since then my
media player isn't working. It doesn't even open and the error message I get
is this:

the instruction at 0x37003664 referenced memory at 0x00000428 The memory
could not be read.

Can anyone tell me what that means and I can fix the problem, please? I
checked out a list of error msgs on the ms-support site, but none of them
correspond.

Thanks a lot
Rgds
B.

Download and reinstall it overtop of the old copy. DO NOT delete previous
version.

Hi Byte,

thanks for your reply. I tried to reinstall it, but it wouldn't let me,
saying that I have the most recent version already!?!?!

LOL, lately I feel more like the bug, I must say!

Using the Control Panel, uninstall it and then reinstall it.
Hope that it will work that way.
