I'm running musicmatch 9.0 and wanted to play internet radio(free) , but when
I click on the radio tab it says that Musicmatch cannot detect the version of
the player I am using and to enable cookies and try again.

I've tried several tried adjusting internet options and adding musicmatch to
trusted sites, to always allow cookies to musicmatch and to adjust security
settings, but I am still having no luck.

Do you have a third party firewall installed? Particularly something like
Norton's Internet Security or ZoneAlarm? If so then (and you might need to
read the manual) you'll want to make sure that they are configured to allow
the type of access the player needs in order to use the radio features.

Not knowing whether you *upgraded* from a previous version, or this is an
OEM or clean install of version 9.0, what I have to say may be of no use.
Nevertheless, here goes. :)

I had that problem when I upgraded from an earlier version to 9.0; and it
went away after I cleared all references of that earlier version and
downloaded the whole application from MM's web site.

I could never get any help from MM, and as Galen already mentioned, MM's web
site also says, the problem is firewalls not being updated to handle IE6.
If your problem isn't solved by upgrading your firewall, you might try a
clean install. HTH...
