everytime i try to download somethin off winmx (a seperate file sharing
program), it always says waiting for connection, then never actualy connects.
I think its something to do with my connection, but i am unsure what.
please help
Black Bevens
The website is probably overloaded at the time you are trying to connect.
Especially if you are using dial-up. Try at a later time like early morning
or
late nights on weekdays you shouldn't have any problems.

Do you have a software filewall blocking outgoing. Or a hardware filewall
doing the same thing.....

Paul, appreciate your comment, but if you are going to help, use the proper
term of the app or feature to which you are referring to avoid confusion.
It is FIREWALL, not "filewall".
