Windows Messenger 5.1 XP Pro SP2.

Although I have checked the box "Sign me in automatically" at the Net
Messenger Service sign in pop up, the automatic sign in does not work - I
have to click on "Click here to sign in" under my email address every time.
Is there a fix for this?

Completely shut down Windows Messenger, then download and run this .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/fixauto.reg

Then restart the client, setup your preferences again and signing in automatically should
work again.
