How do I get back my Internet Explorer and Outlook Express icons back. I
cannot find them anywhere in my system, they just disappeared.

OE is in C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe
IE is in C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Ieplore.exe

Right drag each to the Desktop and release right mouse button and select

They are not there. In fact, they are not anywhere on the system.

Since you are using WinXP, they almost have to be there. If they really
aren't you'll have to do a repair install of WinXP (the second "R" when you
boot from the CD). If you installed SP2 after WinXP was installed,
uninstall that first from Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs.
