I just installed windows xp professional on a pent. II. For some reason my
modem is disabled by firmware.

The msg is:
CODE 29 - the modem has been disabled because firmware did not give it the
required resources. It told me to go into bios and enable it. I have been
there but do not see what I am suppose to enable. I unattached the modem card
and rebooted and then re attached and rebooted again and the msg is the same.

What can I try next. Or how do I give it more resources. I have 6.05 gig
hard drive and there is 4.43 free. (256 RAM)

Please help. I need to get online to get all necessary updates.
