I want to test my backup system and was wondering what is the best way to
purposely corrupt the Windows XP OS?

I mean REALLY corrupt it - blue screen of death, hosed, no return...

Any suggestions?

Boot from your XP CD from and drive through the set a few screens to the
point where you delete partitions and reformat.
Do some of that and you will be well "hosed" then try and recover.
