I have an EMachines 6805 laptop. I have installed Windows XP Pro before.
Tonight I was trying to boot off the CD and do a fresh install. I am
prompted to "Press any key to boot from CD" and when I do that, I quickly see
Setup is inspecting your hardware configuration. After that, the screen is
blank. I have let it sit that way for 30 minutes.
This CD works on another machine, and it has worked on my machine before.
After I started having this problem, I flashed my BIOS to the latest.
What can I do to fix this.
