save windows updates?

About once a year, I make a clean (reformat hard drive) reinstallation of
Windows XP Pro.

Unfortunately, I have then also to download again all the past windows
updates.

Is there a way to save the windows updates, so that they can be reused for
reinstallation of the OS?

Thanks in advance,

Gerhard

Hi,

Not for already installed updates, no.

To be able to reuse updates, you can e.g use the Windows Update Catalog
to download the updates.:

You can downlaod the latest version of AutoPatcher - it will have ALL the
updates as of its release date. www.autopatcher.com or
