Today I helped my friend to reinstall her WinXP SP2. When I was asked about
partion and file systems stuff I thought of deleting FAT32 "C", reconstruct
it and format it into NTFS. But I deleted another data partion by mistake. I
found out right after I pressed "D" and confirmed. Later when the system was
installed that partition was missing, and in the disk management window it
shows unallocated. Well, the data is important so please help!!!

I have recovered several partitions with Recovery Expert from
www.acronis.com.

After you have restored the lost partition, think about the cost of
an external USB backup disk (less than $100), and why you or
your friend would have made the decision not to back up important
data once every week and before any major change.

I suggest you use Partition Table Doctor to resolve your
problem.The software provides very useful functions:
Backup partition table, Restore partition table, Rebuild
partition table, undelete partition, Fix boot sector,
rebuild mbr,etc.

First thing I recommend you download the demo version of
Partition Table Doctor.( http://www.ptdd.com/download.htm )

Run the program and select "Rebuild Partition Table",
then choose "Interactive" mode. If you can find the partition
you need, that is Partition Table Doctor can help you. Otherwise,
Partition Table Doctor cannot help you.
